Η μουσική σε ένα ντοκιμαντέρ παίζει καθοριστικό ρόλο στο ηχητικό τοπίο, όχι μόνο ως προς την αισθητική του αλλά και ως προς την κατανόηση των συναισθημάτων που θέλει ο δημιουργός του να προκαλέσει στον θεατή.
Ακόμη και η μη ύπαρξή της, δίνει ένα χαρακτήρα σε μια σκηνή αλλά και σε όλο το ντοκιμαντέρ.
Έτσι λοιπόν, ένα μουσικό θέμα είναι πάντοτε καλά προσχεδιασμένο και ως προς το ύφος αλλά και ως προς την χρονική του διάρκεια ώστε τελικά να εξυπηρετεί σωστά τους σκοπούς του.
Ο Γιώργος Ξουλόγης κατανόησε πλήρως την θεματολογία των ντοκιμαντέρ και με το ταλέντο του “έντυσε” κάθε σκηνή με μουσική που προκαλεί διαφορετικά συναισθήματα σε κάθε σκηνή.
Ο Γιώργος Ξουλόγης γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στην Καβάλα. Έκανε σπουδές σε πολλά πεδία της μουσικής όπως θα διαπιστώσει κανείς από το βιογραφικό του.
Έγραψε μουσική σε πάνω από 40 ταινίες και σχετικά έργα.
Σήμερα ζει και εργάζεται στην Αθήνα ως Συνθέτης, ενορχηστρωτής, μουσικολόγος με εξειδίκευση στην σύνθεση μουσικής σε οπτικά έργα.
